Water Experiment
(5 Weeks)

Here is a water experiment performed by Dr. Chad Nielson. He used tap water, reverse
osmosis, well water, and Nikken's PiMag water.

The water in each container was changed out weekly with fresh water.

The sweet potatoes were organically grown and were approximately the same size at the
beginning. The experiment went for 5 weeks from beginning to the time the pictures were
taken.

I'm a Walking Miracle

Thanks to Nikken I am living life to the fullest once again. My life forever changed at the age of 15 in 1988. I was in a serious car accident that left me with multiple pelvic fractures. I recovered to a certain point but started going downhill the more I increased my physical activity. From 1992-1997 I underwent 3 surgeries to allieviate the constant agony that I was in. At this point I was not able to sit for more then 20 min let alone work or have any kind of social life. Walking to the maibox was challenge for me. My sleep patterns were terrible, often only falling asleep between 3-5 am. My days were spent going to dr appointments, physiotherapy, and bedrest. Wherever I went I took a lounge chair along or stood. From the countless doctors and specialists that I went to, I received no hope. One specialist even told me if I was a horse, he would shoot me, to put me out of my misery. So, needless to say I turned to any alternative and countless hrs of massage therapy. During this time I tried every pill, juice and gadget on the market.

After 5 years of trying "new alternatives", getting my hopes up and then crushed again and again, a friend of mine told me about the great results she was having using Nikken products on her knees. She invited me to a Wellness Preview where I met a Nikken Wellness Consultant, who shared his life story and the results that he got. What's the best time to polish and wax your vehicle? A good rule of thumb is if water does not bead then it's time to wax. I detail my vehicles every other month for ultimate protection and shine, plus I enjoy it!

Over the years I have tried many different paste and gel type of waxes. I was given a sample of Dri Wash N Guard at a show n shine over 5 years ago and I loved it. I have applied it on a wide variety of vehicles, from cars, trucks, tractors, boats, bikes and even my fridge! I have found it much easier and faster to apply than traditional waxes, plus it's great on glass. It cleans, seals, polishes and protects without using a drop of water!

Guys Weekend

Last weekend was a blast up at Monte Lake, just out of Kamloops. We kneeboarded most of the time trying new tricks. The lake was cold but almost glassy all day long! Other then a few fishing boats, we were the only ski boat. After 4 hrs straight on Saturday, our arms were shot from doing 360s, 41 mph whips, trying to stand up on a kneeboard... it was a great! Unfortunately I don't have any of the pics of jumping the wake or 360s off the wake or the wipe outs...next time!
We drove down a Forestry rd and "camped" right beside the lake. It was definitely worth the drive and we will be back next year!

Another day at Cultus!

We spent the afternoon at Cultus Lake, the water was pretty cold for swimming so we paddled around in the boat. We had lots of fun, cruising around, bouncing over the waves from several ski boats that came close by.

Scott saw a stick floating out by one of the swimming area buoy markers and wanted to pick it up and bring it back to shore. So he grabbed it and noticed fishing line was tied on it, so pretended he was fishing. I jokingly told him to keep his eyes alert for any fish jumping at the end of his line. About 5 to 10 min later as we headed back to shore, he yelled that a fish jumped!! I didn't see it but I heard the splash! I told him to "reel" in his line and as he did we realized that he did have a fish on! I grabbed the stick and tried to "reel" this fish in, got it close up to the boat and let Scott hold his "fishing rod" while Sarah took a few pics.

Scott was super excited and proud of his very first fish. I finally managed to get the hook out of its mouth and then we let it go. The poor fish was winded after being caught and dragged along behind our boat... not sure how long he was there.

All in all, we had a great day at the lake and came home with fish story that we will never forget!

Today as my wife and I were sitting in my office...the window was open and we heard the sweet throaty sound of a high performance V8 drive by. What surprised me and made me grunt like Tim Allen was that my wife turned to see it a split second before I did!! What a great wife!! argh, argh argh!!!!

On a sadder note... I am still bummed that I didn't make it to the Hot Rod Drags at Mission Raceway on the weekend. I was able to go out early Sat morning to Cultus Lake though, so that made up for it! I will not miss going to the Langley Cruise In...unless I'm out on the lake!

Tonight I took the boys out to Mission Raceway for the Street Legal Drags. We had a good time, but I realized that I need to take my boys to more races so they can learn their cars and some race etiquette! They really need to stop calling every red car a Corvette... it's embarrassing when they call a Cavalier a Corvette.

On Saturday, Saturday, Saturday AMA Supercross rocked the house at QWest Field in Seattle.

It was a great night for racing at the open air stadium, the track was good, but had lots of rocks.

The main event was incredible, Chad Reed went down in the first corner. He was now in last place and fought his way all up to 2nd place behind Kevin Windham. It was the best main event that I have ever seen!

Will we ever know the truth?

I must admit I am intrigued by the events of Sept. 11, 2001. It was such a tragedy that so many innocent lives were lost that day.

It appears that this topic continues to surface in the media, from tv to radio, and countless websites. For those of you that haven't looked on the web, you are in for quite a surprise to see how many people feel that the truth of what really happened that day is being covered up. I just finished watching a TV show on the National Geographic channel describing the terrorist plot of 9/11 in great detail which brings me to this new post.

The toughest question is who do you believe is telling the truth? the government? the media?

There appears to be many screw ups that day and a lot of contradicting reports.

The Internet is full of possible theories and questions. Here a few key ones that I have seen...

-The Trade Towers and Building 7 are the only 3 steel structures to collapse due to fire in history and ironically all 3 happened the same day, in the same city, in the same block.
-Interestingly the other buildings in the World Trade Center complex did not collapse but were severely damaged.
-The Towers collapse was a controlled demolition.
-How could jet fuel burn hot enough to melt steel? and still be hot days and weeks later?
-Where did all the steel and debris go? why wasn't it quarantined for inspection?
-Human bones are still being discovered 6 years later.
-There were unusual power down times in both Towers the week before, including all security surveillance.
-Interesting to see what nationality the tenants/occupants were in the buildings that day, and of more interest who was not.
-Many fireman have reported hearing lots of explosions in the basement and lower levels prior to the collapse.
-A missile struck the Towers, there is even video footage of this.
-That no planes actually hit the towers, that the media aired what they were given.
-The one jet engine laying on the street was placed there, previously hidden there behind scaffolding.
-Possibly the biggest bank heist in history! Reports show up to $900 million was in vaults in the basements and not even half of that has been accounted for.
-The planes were not commercial jets, but military aircraft and that they shot at the towers just prior to impact.
-One of the jets that crashed that day has since been reported by an American Airlines flight crew as seen in service.
-2 of the jets that crashed were recorded as not in service that day.
- There were repeated alerts to George Bush of unprecedented terrorist activity, the last one in August by the CIA.
-How could a commercial jet penetrate the air space of the Pentagon, let alone strike it?
-Evidence was planted by the FBI, such as the ATM card that was found at ground zero in perfect condition exactly 1 year later, and a passport of passenger on one of the flights found a few blocks away in perfect condition.
-Widespread foreknowledge... the Brooklyn student who told his teacher a week prior, that next week the World Trade Towers will be gone.

These are only a few of the many theories and questions out there.

The truth will surface. When? Who knows.

My Week in Texas

Just spent last week in Addison Texas (just north of Dallas) taking a business course. Had a great week basking in the +90 degree sunshine! I got treated like royalty, driving around town in limos - the H2 limo is definitely the best one around - lots of room and fun to be in. I brought my boys back official Dallas Cowboys footballs.

Celebrating my life!

Today is an extra special day for me. 19 years ago today I was in a car accident that has forever changed my life. For many years my life was full of severe chronic pain, surgeries, Dr. visits, countless hours of physiotherapy and trying every alternative remedy out there to ease my pain.

But since 1997 this has been a day to celebrate new life. I have been pain-free since then and able to work and live a normal life again. I thank God everyday for a pain-free body and the new life He has given me.

So to celebrate this weekend, I went golfing with my brother and the Zach cousins yesterday. We had an awesome time... just too bad that we all forgot cameras! Today, I celebrated with my wife and kids, and my brother and his family walking through the Othello Tunnels near Hope, BC.

The Theater is finally finished. Everything worked out really well, and it looks just like I imagined it. We've watched several movies in there already. The boys' favourites to watch are Cars and Toy Story. The best surround sound/bass so far was on Master and Commander during the Pirate battles and canon explosions. Now Sarah doesn't hesitate to stay up late to stamp because I am busy watching cool HD shows/movies in 7.1 surround sound. Sports are awesome on the big screen. I'm pre-selling tickets for the Superbowl and Grey Cup. (kidding!)

Here are some construction pics of my theater room. The room is 12 X 20. Platform is 6' deep and 1' high, which is just right for the second row recliners. It could have actually been 7' deep, so I'm glad I didn't make it any smaller. The speaker wire is all ducted in which leads to the sound room in the back right corner, under the stairwell. The room is fully insulated with R-26 which is working quite well (except for big explosions - those shake the house!) Special thanks to my Father-in-law for all his help and expertise.
