Vancouver Car & Truck show

Not all water is equal...

Water Experiment

Here is a water experiment performed by Dr. Chad Nielson. He used tap water, reverse
osmosis, well water, and Nikken's PiMag water.

The water in each container was changed out weekly with fresh water.

The sweet potatoes were organically grown and were approximately the same size at the
beginning. The experiment went for 5 weeks from beginning to the time the pictures were
taken.

I'm a Walking Miracle

Thanks to Nikken I am living life to the fullest once again. My life forever changed at the age of 15 in 1988. I was in a serious car accident that left me with multiple pelvic fractures. I recovered to a certain point but started going downhill the more I increased my physical activity. From 1992-1997 I underwent 3 surgeries to allieviate the constant agony that I was in. At this point I was not able to sit for more then 20 min let alone work or have any kind of social life. Walking to the maibox was challenge for me. My sleep patterns were terrible, often only falling asleep between 3-5 am. My days were spent going to dr appointments, physiotherapy, and bedrest. Wherever I went I took a lounge chair along or stood. From the countless doctors and specialists that I went to, I received no hope. One specialist even told me if I was a horse, he would shoot me, to put me out of my misery. So, needless to say I turned to any alternative and countless hrs of massage therapy. During this time I tried every pill, juice and gadget on the market.

After 5 years of trying "new alternatives", getting my hopes up and then crushed again and again, a friend of mine told me about the great results she was having using Nikken products on her knees. She invited me to a Wellness Preview where I met a Nikken Wellness Consultant, who shared his life story and the results that he got. Amazingly, his story was similar to mine, so I thought if Nikken turned his life around, I might as well try it, plus the huge added benefit of no side effects! I started using the products and wanted to get as much constant use as I could... and nothing happened. With constant encouragement from my Nikken upline I continued to faithfully use all the products, after all I had nothing to lose, I didn't have any other options. Another day at Cultus... in October!!!

It was a beautiful day today and Cultus was perfect! Only a few other boats, glassy water and great friends! What more can you ask for in October?!!
I love B.C.!!!

Fall is here, have you waxed?

What's the best time to polish and wax your vehicle? A good rule of thumb is if water does not bead then it's time to wax. I detail my vehicles every other month for ultimate protection and shine, plus I enjoy it!

Over the years I have tried many different paste and gel type of waxes. I was given a sample of Dri Wash N Guard at a show n shine over 5 years ago and I loved it. Guys Weekend

Last weekend was a blast up at Monte Lake, just out of Kamloops. We kneeboarded most of the time trying new tricks. The lake was cold but almost glassy all day long! Other then a few fishing boats, we were the only ski boat. After 4 hrs straight on Saturday, our arms were shot from doing 360s, 41 mph whips, trying to stand up on a kneeboard... it was a great! Unfortunately I don't have any of the pics of jumping the wake or 360s off the wake or the wipe outs...next time!
We drove down a Forestry rd and "camped" right beside the lake. It was definitely worth the drive and we will be back next year!

It was a great day for the Cruise In, great weather, lots of cars, but not as much as some years it seemed.








This was a prototype, not a production car. It drew a lot of attention.

Another day at Cultus!

We spent the afternoon at Cultus Lake, the water was pretty cold for swimming so we paddled around in the boat. We had lots of fun, cruising around, bouncing over the waves from several ski boats that came close by.

Scott saw a stick floating out by one of the swimming area buoy markers and wanted to pick it up and bring it back to shore. So he grabbed it and noticed fishing line was tied on it, so pretended he was fishing. I jokingly told him to keep his eyes alert for any fish jumping at the end of his line. About 5 to 10 min later as we headed back to shore, he yelled that a fish jumped!! I didn't see it but I heard the splash! I told him to "reel" in his line and as he did we realized that he did have a fish on! I grabbed the stick and tried to "reel" this fish in, got it close up to the boat and let Scott hold his "fishing rod" while Sarah took a few pics.







Scott was super excited and proud of his very first fish. I finally managed to get the hook out of its mouth and then we let it go. The poor fish was winded after being caught and dragged along behind our boat... not sure how long he was there.

All in all, we had a great day at the lake and came home with fish story that we will never forget!

I'm so proud of my wife!

Today as my wife and I were sitting in my office...the window was open and we heard the sweet throaty sound of a high performance V8 drive by. What surprised me and made me grunt like Tim Allen was that my wife turned to see it a split second before I did!! What a great wife!! argh, argh argh!!!!



On a sadder note... I am still bummed that I didn't make it to the Hot Rod Drags at Mission Raceway on the weekend. I was able to go out early Sat morning to Cultus Lake though, so that made up for it! I will not miss going to the Langley Cruise In...unless I'm out on the lake!
